Flexural Behaviour of Chicken Mesh Ferrocement Laminates with Partial Replacement of Fine Aggregate by Steel Slag

Bending tests were conducted on ferrocement laminates containing chicken mesh and steel slag. The fundamental goal of the examination was to investigate effects partial substitution fine aggregate by slag in cement mortar combining different volume fractions as reinforcement thin laminates. following variables investigated: (a) fraction 0.94%, 1.88%, 2.82%, 3.77% (b) level from 0% 50% weight aggregate. Results show that with 30% display better performance terms load deflection behaviour, first crack load, ultimate energy absorption, ductility ratio when related other specimens. An analytical model has been proposed predict moment carrying capacity under flexure validate experimental results.
